About SAFE

SAFE stands for Safe Atlanta For Everyone. We are an across-neighborhood organization focused on identifying, promoting and facilitating actions individual members of all communities can take to improve public safety starting right now — today. Started as a regular meeting of concerned citizens during the summer of 2008, SAFE has grown to encompass four key programs in the Southeast Atlanta area intended to empower individuals to make their communities stronger and safer.

Initially focused on the East Atlanta and Ormewood Park communities of Southeast Atlanta, SAFE’s programs have expanded to cover portions of Unincorporated DeKalb County and the entire South Atlanta Neighborhood Development (SAND) districts in Southeast Atlanta.

Part of SAFE’s mission is to share the programs and tools we develop with other communities that want to be stronger and safer.  If you would like to bring SAFE Watch, Flyer Program, Cookies for Cops/Food for Firefighters or Refuse To Be A Victim(R) seminars in your community, please email us via the Contact page on this website.
